Details and close-ups may be my favorite thing to capture. Don't get me wrong, I love getting emotions and interactions between loved ones. But when the house is quiet and the light is just right and something catches my eye, I run for my camera. Sometimes it might be a blooming flower, a small prop, or my boys playing Legos on the floor. But an object or scene that is placed just correctly in the light, these are images that seem to be timeless for me and maybe some of the only photographs that I don't prefer in black-and-white. While on your photoshoot don't be surprised if you see me stealing a small item or prop to capture it on it's own, especially if it's something sentimental.
